BioI love writing and reading fanfic, especially Harry Potter stories. In my 40's, married for 20 years, have 2 children, and live in Arizona. I've been reading fanfic for about two years and writing for a little over a year. I'm also fond of books by British authors, including Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy, Charlotte and Emily Bronte, J.R.R. Tolkien, Paul Scott, and J.K. Rowling, and most films based on their works.
As for movies, I enjoy foreign films (Amelie, Jean de Florette, Manon of the Spring); movies with stories that make you think (Memento, The Usual Suspects, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, etc.); classic movies (Casablanca, Rebecca); and musicals (Oliver!, Fiddler on the Roof, Little Shop of Horrors, Singing in the Rain).
