I have written and read fanfic (mostly Harry Potter) for a while now. In my 40's, married 25 years, have 2 children, and live in Arizona. I'm fond of books by British authors, including Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy, Charlotte and Emily Bronte, J.R.R. Tolkien, Paul Scott, and J.K. Rowling. I am trying to expand my horizons to other writers as well. Also enjoy The Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine.

I enjoy foreign films like Amelie and Jean de Florette. Other movies I like are Memento, The Usual Suspects, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, as well as classics (Casablanca, Rebecca) and musicals (Oliver!, Cabaret, Fiddler on the Roof, Little Shop of Horrors, Singin' in the Rain).
